We’ve been waiting for the right time to share this, but, perhaps, now (more than ever) is the moment — emboldened by hope despite insurmountable odds, and a world in which tumult and spectacle are the new norm.
It’s hard not to feel afraid, to be terrified at uncertainty, to feel rage, exhaustion, and what I refer to as “apocalypse” fatigue.
Having hope amidst this chaos is a revolutionary act. Choosing hope amidst doom is a revolutionary act. Hope is a revolutionary act.
BE NOT AFRAID is the work of over a decade’s exploration (and first-hand experiences) in realms angelic and the ineffable world of these celestial beings — a multiverse where at the edges of apocalypse, revolution and revelation, hope still springs eternal.
This deck explores an amalgam of Biblically accurate, apocryphal, and esoteric angels — taking inspiration from The Celestial Hierarchy, Enochian magick, the work of John Dee, and hermeticism. It demolishes the tepid, saccharine, pastel angelic world that permeates new age book shelves and offers something provocative, strange, and familiar.
The cards take you beyond the internet meme, and into a universe of light, great cosmic fires that illuminate and invoke something ageless and prescient.

This project is not only the project of my dreams, it is the first work since Amenti Oracle which feels like I’ve returned home. Natalee Miller is one of my life’s soul mates — in creativity, in friendship, in the journey that took place imagining, writing and creating this deck.
