Welcome Every Life Lesson

The first time I ever tried #ayahuasca was in the summer of 2013.
Humbled, ready, and with an open heart - I opened my mind and soul to what these plant teachers had to teach me... For those of you familiar with ayahuasca, you've probably heard of the some-what unsavory side-effects of the medicine, such as vomiting, and diarrhea. Two not-so-fun, but all-so-necessary parts of the process of "getting well". The "purge" as it's referred to, isn't about getting sick, but instead, it's about allowing your body to rid itself of toxic negative emotions such as fear, resentment, jealousy, and sadness.

The first time I ever tried the medicine, there was no purging, only merging with my truth and seeing a future potential that (almost 6-years-later) has manifested beyond my wildest dreams.

However, in the time since then, after almost 20 ceremonies, I've definitely had my fair share of getting "well", and in the process of the purge, seeing your emotions outside of yourself, and feeling just how dense toxic energy is, shifts perspective on just how potent your feelings truly are.

The body is a sponge, which soaks up experience, energy, time, and memory in ways that can either transform in a positive way or tether us to negativity, which must be transmuted through self-reflection, identification, and whatever medicine calls your spirit - this could be #meditation #creativity #therapy #breathwork #kundalini etc. *not just the plants* - in order to heal.

The #purge is part of the process, and to get "well" sometimes we must release attachments and obscurations so that we can be our best selves, pure in heart, mind, and spirit.

I am claiming 2019 as the year of crystalline clarity, purified perspective, with a feather-heart and diamond-mind.

Today I encourage you to claim what you need to release in order to be well and to wish it into existence with your will. Nurture your human nature with a knowing that our ability to heal transcends the limits of logic, and as you cleanse your awareness from the attachments that cause suffering, you are able to Welcome Every Life Lesson (pure, and unbridled...as it is).
